French Restoration Period Artistic Pedestal Table In Mahogany With Swans Circa 1820-1830
An elegant and decorative artistic pedestal table decorated with Swans in the classic Empire style, in mahogany and beech lacquered in black and beech gilded with gold leaf. The top features a circular top in veined white marble set in a mahogany veneered circle and a gilded bronze moulding.
The pedestal table rests on a triangular mahogany-veneered base finished with ormolu castors.
Very fine French work of the 19th century, in the Empire style, manufactured circa 1820-1830.
