Beautiful reverse glass painting made in China during the Qing Dynasty circa 1880. It is in its original hardwood frame and the reverse glass painting was done on thick beveled glass. This complex technique which required the painter to work in reverse, flourished in the 18th century. Measures: 55 cm x 41 cm (including frame). Good overall condition
