After Louis Majorelle: Nancy school cabinet in walnut, Art Nouveau period, circa 1900. Atypical in shape and inspired by nature in the spirit of Hector Guimard's creations (Paris metro stations). The particularity of the Art Nouveau style, which was born in France in 1889, is that the decorations composed of curves and arabesques are no longer added but are an integral part of the sculpture. The exuberance of the shapes, decorations and stylized sculptures earned the nickname "Art Nouilles" at that time. This magnificent piece of furniture presented opens on the front with 3 doors and 3 drawers without a crosspiece. It has a central library niche, topped with a griotte marble.
