Oil on canvas + early 19th century frame Interesting oil on canvas depicting a man consulting a register "state of acquisitions" dated October 5, 1709. It mentions orders for prints among other things. It was common for major collectors, merchants, sponsors or patrons in the 18th century to have their portrait taken in their office in a dressing gown consulting a register.
The frame needs to be slightly re-adapted to the frame, see slightly different dimensions.
The painting needs to be restored, there are some missing parts, original condition.
Early 19th century oak key frame with some missing parts, to be cleaned.
