Artist: Augustin Dieudonné
Rare, large and beautiful original bust of King Charles X, made by the sculptor Augustin Dieudonné (1785-1873) in 1824. Born in Paris in 1785, Augustin Dieudonné was a student of the great sculptor François-Joseph Bosio (1768-1845) in Paris. He was especially renowned as an excellent medallist. His workshop was located on rue Guénégaud. His stamp is also inlaid in the pedestal of the bust, with the inscription "Dieudonné, sculptor rue Génégaud, n°19". Some chips, but above all needs cleaning. Dimensions: 70 x 66 cm.
