18k Gold Ring With Coral, Rose-cut Diamonds And Black Enamel
18k gold ring featuring an upper section dating from the Napoleon III period, adorned with three natural coral beads surrounded by rose-cut diamonds and accented with delicate black enamel lines.
The warm tone of the coral contrasts beautifully with the subtle sparkle of the antique diamonds and the depth of the black enamel. The unusual proportions of the upper section, elongated and generous, give the ring a particularly distinctive silhouette and a strong presence on the finger.
This antique upper section, originally designed as a clasp, was later mounted onto an 18k gold ring shank, allowing this 19th-century jewelry element to be worn today in a new form.
One of the coral beads shows a very fine hairline crack, not visible when the ring is worn and only detectable when carefully examining the reverse. This very discreet feature is mentioned here in the interest of full transparency and accuracy.
