Console Return From Egypt Consulate Empire
Elegant console first half 19th century Consultat Empire in the format called d'entre deux in flamed mahogany veneer opening with a drawer in the belt, it rests on front uprights in sheath surmounted by heads of caryatids in finely carved wood patinated green in the antique style, rear uprights in pilaster, the whole resting on a solid base in the form of a plinth. Decoration in appliques of gilded bronzes with decoration of palmettes and stars. The top is topped with a tray in anthracite gray marble. Good general condition, old restoration to the veneer, dimensions: 85 cm high X 57 cm long X 36 cm wide.
