Tylek, or Jiří Tyleček, deals with figurative themes, in his paintings he presents a gentle, pure and tender woman. They can be queens, musicians, nymphs, sirens, virgins - with their heads slightly tilted like the women in Amedeo Modigliani's paintings.

Few contemporary Czech artists are as successful abroad as Tylek & Tyleček or Jiří and Zdeňka Tyleček.
They have been living in France since 1983, have been exhibiting at the Ritz Hotel in Paris for 15 years and, as the only living painters, have their permanent exhibition in a museum in Japan. Today, they have a gallery in an excellent location in the center of Paris.
Their paintings are in great demand and their admirers from all over the world are always eagerly awaiting a new collection. Zdena Tylečková, known as Tyleček, devotes herself to landscapes and still lifes, her husband Jiří Tyleček, known as Tyleček, paints female figures.
