Object description :

"Gargoyle 19th Century - Based On A Gothic Model "
Gothic style gargoyle from the Violet le Duc period, circa 1840/1880
Reconstituted stone element developed in the 19th century

This gargoyle decorated a small private chapel in Seine et Marne until its demolition a few years ago
Certainly copied from a Gothic model, its solid structure will ensure its longevity for a long time.
Small, fairly classic model, its small size makes it a very pleasant decorative object.
A minor but unwelcome repair in concrete was carried out under the head.
This does not call into question the solidity of the whole.

Length or distance from the wall: 75 cm
Width of the wall socket: 35 cm
Thickness of the part to the wall socket: 23 cm
