Art Deco Bouquet Painting, Constantin Font.

Oil painting on canvas representing two bouquets of flowers in an art deco interior by Constantin Font. Very beautiful painting dated 1934 and signed top right by the artist. Constantin Font was a great artist born in Auch in 1890 and died in Paris in 1954 who was a student of Fernand Cormon, and obtained a mention in 1910 at the Salon and was awarded a medal in 1921 the year of his Prix de Rome. He obtained numerous distinctions including the grand prize of the Universal Exhibition of 1937. Present in many museums including that of the quai Branly. Presence of the patinated frame in whitewashed wood. Dimensions of the frame 77 by 66 cm. Very beautiful piece with delicate colors and art deco graphics which will be a masterpiece in a beautiful interior above a chest of drawers or console.
