Statue representing a seated male figure. The face is magnificent in its finesse and the rendering of its expression. A great serenity emanates from this statue. We know very little about the Katsina culture. It would perhaps come from the descendants (with the Sokoto culture) of the Nok culture. We can only, through this testimony, admire the know-how and sensitivity of these artists.
Terracotta.
Height: 42 cm
