"Mahogany Shepherdess From The Consulate Period"
Large mahogany bergere from the Consulate period. Slightly inverted backrest topped with a flat capital with lateral scrolls and decorated with a large rosette projecting in the middle; sabre feet at the back and lotus-shaped baluster at the front. Armrest support in flat baluster carved on the front with lotus leaves and flowers. Armrests with cuff, circular pastille end decorated with a flower, and sculptures of water leaves at the junction with the backrest. Red silk upholstery.
