This collection has been verified as 19th-century heliograph prints by the British Museum Print Room.
This excellent quality print was made between 1860 and 1880 on Dutch laid paper.

Rembrandt Harmensz Van Rijn, known simply as Rembrandt 1606-1669, is one of the greatest painters and etchers in the history of European art.

Provenance: Historically, many collectors stamped or signed the prints they acquired, known as "collector's marks," and some of these collections, including this print, bear the title handwritten in French.
