Daum, Mini-vase Parlant "parfum De Vertu" In Frosted Glass Tinted Green And Gold Decor
Antonin Daum (1864-1930), charming mini talking vase "Parfum De Vertu". Decor engraved in reserve of gladioli enhanced with gold on a frosted green background tinted green. Light pink patina with the characters of the maxim. Neck circled in gold and base in chiseled silver metal. Signed under the base Daum + Nancy in gold. Note a small "straw" under the foot, invisible when the vase is placed. (see photos) Probably designed by Henri Bergé at the very end of the 19th century. Height: 69 mm
