Overmodeled with plant material and painted with natural pigments.

Collected on the island of Ambrym in Vanuatu with the help of Grand Chief Etoul and his son James.
This figure of rank was enthroned in the Natsara of the great Chief.
Mid 20th century

It is adorned on the belt with an authentic headband made of coral beads and dolphin teeth from the Solomon Islands (Saint Cristobal).
