18TH CENTURY DRESS COAT WITH TRAIN AND MATCHING PETTICOAT THE DRESS COAT IN STRIPED TAFFETA IS DECORATED WITH FLAPS ON THE FRONT, BODICE, NECKLINE AND BOTTOM OF THE SLEEVES. OFTEN MATCHED WITH THE PAINTER WATTEAU, SERIES OF PLEATS STARTING FROM THE TOP OF THE BACK BLENDING INTO THE TRAIN OF THE COAT NO LINING EXCEPT A STRIP OF FABRIC AT THE BOTTOM OF THE COAT LACING TIES AT THE BACK WITH LINING BLUE STRIPED FABRIC THE PETTICOAT IN THE SAME TAFFETA IS PLEATED AT THE WAIST AND CLOSED WITH A LIEN THE FRONT IS DECORATED WITH FALBALAS IN TWO ROWS THE FABRIC IS NOT WORN OR BURNT - VERY GOOD CONDITION TWO VERY SMALL DISCOLORATIONS ARE IN THE PLEATS ON THE RIGHT SIDE DIMENSIONS OF THE MANTEAU: SHOULDERS 33 CM - HEIGHT ON THE FRONT 138 CM  -HEIGHT ON THE BACK 166 CM - LENGTH OF THE SLEEVES WHICH STOP AT THE ELBOW 44 CM -
 DEPLOYED FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE COAT 365 CM
