An mid 19th-century, early Victorian period rosewood Wellington chest. The chest boasts a lovely rich rosewood color and features seven mahogany-lined drawers with original turned wooden knobs. The drawers are flanked by pilasters, with the right-hand pilaster serving as a locking mechanism for the drawers, secured by a working Bramah lock and key. It stands on a plinth base. Made circa 1850, this Wellington chest is in excellent original condition, with a superb figured rosewood brown finish.
