A diamond-shaped tête-à-tête tray with slightly raised and curved edges. Very fine gilding in latticework and friezes.
The Clignancourt Manufactory
Placed under the protection of the King's brother, Monsieur, Comte de Provence, from 1777, it produced mainly gilded pieces, then polychrome in the second half of the 1780s. The vignette is marked with Monsieur's initials: L.S.X.
Condition report: very fresh gilding, minor wear.
