Lovely Senneh carpet from Iran made of wool and woven on silk foundations of different colors, late 19th century. Characterized by a crenellated and oblong ivory field serving as a support for the pink mandorla medallion, surrounding a navy heart decorated with animal motifs and decoration. With 4 spandrels, 2 counter borders with flower stems and an interior frame with ivory and anthracite "Moorish" crenellations. Measurements: Length: 203 cm Width: 133 cm
