Central cartouche representing the head of Mercury with his attributes. The sheath feet are carved on all four sides. Marble top. Mercury comes from Roman mythology. Subtle and astute, he presides over commerce, eloquence, patron saint of travelers. He is the messenger of Zeus, but also the god of thieves.
