Charles X Table
Tea or Writing Table, Italy, first half of the 19th century, in rosewood inlaid with holly.
X-shaped legs highlighted with light fillets, joined by a stretcher with double balusters.
The apron, inlaid on the long sides with scrolls and acanthus leaves, has two drawers on the shorter sides.

The scene is centered around a main motif representing an Etruscan vase, with two forest spirits clinging to it, flanked by paradise birds watching butterflies.
This tableau is framed by a luxuriant décor of stylized flowers, acanthus, and scrolls, connected by ropes bearing floral pendant motifs.
Very good condition.
