A dynamic, cushion-shaped, quadrangular box in chiselled and gilded bronze; the lid is decorated with garlands and foliage scrolls applied to a finely chiselled background of trellises and small flowers. It is centred by a circular medallion of painted porcelain depicting an ancient mythological scene featuring three draped young women in a park.
