Nubian stand in solid wood from the 19th century representing a crouching Nubian carrying on his head and holding it in his hands a vase in the shape of a scalloped tray carved with acanthus leaves and grotesque heads. The Nubian wears a skirt decorated with flowers and slippers at the feet, the round base is decorated with acanthus leaves. Very beautiful sculpture in good condition and very solid, able to support a large vase, a bronze ...... Originally there were three feet (see last photo with foot locations), I think they were removed for better stability.
