"Sèvres. Two Porcelain Biscuit Busts."
Pair of biscuit porcelain busts depicting Louis-Antoine d'Artois, Duke of Angoulême (1775-1844) and Marie-Thérèse de France Duchess of Angoulême (1778-1851) on enameled porcelain pedestals with a blue background and gold fillets. The bust of the Duchess of Angoulême is marked intaglio on the reverse: Mas 9 April 25 n 2 for Jean Etienne Mascret (1806-1848) the base marked in: 29 April 24 E Charles X period 1825. Similar models are kept at the Louvre Museum under the number OA 11376 - OA 2684.
