Large Art Nouveau Lamp, Wrought Iron And Glass Paste Signed "charder".
Beautiful and large "butterfly" lamp, signed "Charder", for CHARles SchneiDER. He signed indifferently 'Schneider' or 'Charder', then 'le Verre Français' in association with his brother. The foot, in wrought iron, is swollen in its center, on four sides, with stylized plant motifs. The square base has floral motifs on four sides. The whole rests on four small 'ball' feet. The "shell" lampshade, in glass paste with an orange background, receives four motifs of flying butterflies in red. A 'braid' also red underlines its base. It rests on three 'claws'. Very beautiful Art Nouveau light in perfect condition
