Pair of small Louis XVI style candlesticks in gilded bronze and alabaster. Set on alabaster bases decorated with a frieze of pearls and a garland of flowers, two gilded bronze putti hold in their hands the stylized light arms in rose branches. The bobeches are in rosebuds. Very beautiful, very bright gilding, the alabaster bases very slightly yellowed. Napoleon III period around 1860. Delivery 18 euros in France, 35 euros in the EU and 100 euros rest of the world.
