Very Beautiful Pair Of Italian Bronze Andirons.
A very fine pair of patinated bronze andirons, Italian Venetian style, 19th century. The two figures representing Jupiter with the eagle and Juno with the peacock, on vases decorated with angels and dolphins. This pair of style, is made after a model made by Niccolò Roccatagliata (1539-1636), a famous Italian sculptor, active in Venice.
