Celadon Glazed Lotus Dish - China 18th Century Qianlong Period
Porcelain dish with incised lotus decoration. The border is decorated with Greek friezes, the centre is incised with a lotus flower. The brown heel is unglazed.
On the reverse, a Qianlong mark.

There are several variations of this dish, both with celadon enamel in different shapes, notably in the form of a chrysanthemum with a lobed rim, and also in a glaze known as ‘moonlight’.
