Portrait Of A Young Dandy Circa 1830
Large and beatiful portrait of a young dandy with blue eyes holding a pair of gloves, oil on canvas circa 1830. His hair tied up at the front of his forehead is quite curious and the fashion must have been short-lived because I don't know of any other examples in painting. Note that in the 1980s in Paris it was not uncommon to see young men with hair done in much the same way.
