"Jacques Lagrange Sciences And Arts"
Oil on panel depicting a woman doing chemistry experiments in an empty room and at the back of the room next to the only window a man sitting on a chair holding a violin. The panel is signed lower left j Lagrange and dated 43. It is framed in a molded oak frame. Jacques Lagrange (1917-1995) abstract painter from the 1950s to the 1980s, had a figurative period at the beginning, marked by his participation in the great decoration of Raoul Dufy, the electricity fairy, during the universal exhibition of 1937 until the post-war period.
