Very finely engraved crystal ewer mounted in silver, 4 Minerva hallmarks. Vermeil inside. Also silver foot. Goldsmith's hallmark in a diamond-shaped cartouche: H & H for HACK Charles and HOURDEQUIN Achille - with two opposing axes and a star. (Inscribed on November 12, 1884 and crossed out on June 4, 1902 at 42 rue de Turbigo, Paris.). Louis XV style, late 19th century. Very good condition. Superb object of high quality both for the goldsmithing and the crystal body.
