Magnificent pair of old trimmings tiebacks, the twisted cord supporting a large fringed pompom, some of which are knotted together to form a very beautiful decorative pattern. Very beautiful and rare colors of the mixed yarns in shades of intense duck blue, yellow, beige, ocher, ideally complementing the tapestries and greenery from Aubusson or other major manufacturers... Napoleon III period. Dimensions: Pompom height: approximately 19 cm Total height: approximately 70 cm Very good condition. Rare in this condition: no wear, discoloration or pulled threads.
