Earthenware Plate From Moustiers Decorated With Coat Of Arms, 18th C.
Round earthenware plate from Moustiers with blue monochrome decoration of large coat of arms in the center with the arms of Louis Roger de Fransures (known as Franssures-Villers*) surmounted by a marquis crown and framed by two lions. Lace frieze on the wing and two blue fillets on the edge.
First half of the 18th century.

Tiny crack in the basin above the coat of arms, not repaired. Visible enamel chips on the rim.
