Chinese Lacquer Box Box 18th Louis XV Period Golden Landscape Decor
Exceptional Chinese lacquer box from the Louis XV period, decorated with landscapes representing small villages surrounded by vegetation. The decorations on all sides are gold on a black background. Two side sockets in gold metal, a lock and its working key complete this box. The interior is powdered with gold, a technique specific to the period. In very good shape. Length 25 cm Width 17.5 cm Height 8 cm.
