"Opaline Bottle Decorated With Lafontaine's Fables"

Turquoise colored opal crystal bottle. Baluster in shape, it is decorated with reserves of Lafontaine's fables: - The turtle and the two ducks. - The frog who wants to be as big as the ox. Garlands of roses in gold and silver, as well as forget-me-nots complete the decor. It is topped with its ball cap. Very good condition, note a few chips on the heel of the cap. Height: 16 cm; French work around 1820. Decors created by Jean-Baptiste Desvignes.
