Maurice Hagemans born in 1852 in Liège - died in 1917 in Ixelles, is a Belgian impressionist painter and watercolorist. He exhibited for the first time in Brussels in 1875. From 1887, Maurice Hagemans became a member of the Society of Belgian Watercolorists.
He was the co-founder a year earlier of L'Art Indépendant. His success grew and in 1892, King Leopold II ordered four panels for the Chateau d'Ardenne. Works at the Museums of Namur, Ostend, Brussels, Antwerp, Liège.
