"Jean-Pierre FAMENCHON: Solid Silver Olive Spoon 1st quarter of the 19th century Paris" Superb olive spoon in solid silver, old man's hallmarks, threaded model. Magnificently pierced in the oval of the spoon, articulated around a lovely central rosette; a double frieze of tulips punctuates the contours, enriched with finely openwork tears. Title and Guarantee hallmarks for Paris 1819-1838 (1st title, 950/1000) and goldsmith's hallmark: Jean-Pierre FAMECHON received in 1820 in Paris (JPF, a Corinthian half-column topped with a ball). Total length - lenght: 27.6 cm. / 10.87 in. Solid silver weight - Sterling silver weight: 126 Gr. This very elegant olive spoon is in excellent condition and very well carved. No dents, dents or deformation, beautiful patina, micro-scratches from use. For discerning enthusiasts and collectors....
