.Military watercolor by Ferdinandus Alexandre 1850-1888 artist, painter, engraver, illustrator of Belgian origin. Born in Antwerp in 1850, student of the painter Frédéric Lix. He exhibited watercolors and drawings at the Paris Salon, and he became a member of the Salon des Artistes Français. His drawings are illustrated in La Petite Presse and l'Union Illustré. Watercolor in very good condition signed lower left.
