Period early 17th century
Made from a painted esclace under composition "Perseus delivering Andromeda" by Annibale Carracci, Galleria Farnese - Rome.
Drawing in the spirit of Giusepe Cesari (1568-1640), a very similar drawing is listed in the graphic arts department of the Louvre (No. INV-3021) and attributed to him.
The drawing is in very good condition, false margin mounting in an 18th century gilded wood frame.
