Sculpture - Animal Bronze - Signed V. Chemin
Bronze sculpture with bronze patina, signed on the terrace V. CHEMIN (after), lost wax and mark of the FBL Foundry representing a scratching greyhound. Victor Chemin (1825-1901) was a student of Barye, he had a preference for domestic dogs. The greyhound is a superb statue, we notice the finesse of the artist's gesture.
