Alexandre Thomas Francia (1815-1884) is the son of François Louis Francia, known for having trained Richard Parles Bonington. A specialist in watercolor and marine painting like his father, he participated in most European painting fairs. The watercolor is quite fresh in color and framed in a golden white frame in late 19th century view. Without frame, it measures 11.7x16.4 cm
