Silver Photo Frame

Large rectangular photo frame, to stand or hang. Solid silver 800/000 (hallmarks visible on photo). Decor in the style of the Empire, palmettes and pearls. The original blue silk interior is a little stained in places. The support and the stand are in mahogany veneer in a stained wood surround. Although the hinge is inoperative, the back opens without difficulty to place a photo or any other document. The glass is present. Very good condition, late 19th century.
