Japan, 19th century, very pretty kagami mirror in silvered bronze presenting on one side a relief decoration of wading birds evolving in a plant environment and on the other side a polished surface. This type of mirror is typical of those that were used until the middle of the 19th century. The handle is covered with thin strips of bamboo. Delicate creation restoring the beauty of the details.
Height 33.7 cm. Diameter 24 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone.
