Circular mahogany pedestal table with central stem decorated with porcelain plaques depicting gallant scenes Square base with curved sides presenting porcelain of romantic scenes in chased gilded bronze medallions resting on 4 gilded bronze lion paws The top decorated with a Louis XVI bronze frieze presents a portrait of Madame Mary Graham in painted sheet metal. The Portrait of Mrs Mary Graham or The Honorable Mrs Graham is a painting by Thomas Gainsborough dating from 1777. It was painted the year before Mary's marriage to Thomas Graham, the future Lord Lynedoch. The painting is housed in the National Gallery of Scotland in Edinburgh 1.
