Charles Édouard de Beaumont Born in 1812 in Lannion. died January 12, 1888 in Paris. Painter of religious subjects, genre, landscapes, watercolorist, draftsman, illustrator, lithographer. This artist was the son of the sculptor Jean-Baptiste Beaumont, who entrusted his education to the painter Boisselier. Édouard de Beaumont devoted himself to genre painting. With Vibert, he was founder of the Society of Watercolorists in 1879 and became its president.
