Beautiful funerary terracotta from the BURA region (Niger). It is a cylindrical anthropomorphic sculpture decorated with geometric designs. It represents a human character with a schematized phallic body; it could be the lid of a funerary urn or a grave marker of a high-ranking person. Height: 50 cm. Period of completion estimated between 200 and 1200 years AD.
