Biography:
ZA MEZO MUMPASI was born in 1945 in the Democratic Republic of Congo
He won the Grand Prize in the 1968 National Competition and joined the Institute of National Museums in 1974.
He was very close to Congolese daily life and transposed traditional life and biblical scenes into his work with lots of finesse.
He died in 1991.
