Large Console
Large console in carved, lacquered and gilded wood. The purple marble top veined with white is supported by two heads of Demeter, divinity of the harvests.
Rich ornamentation of acanthus leaves, water leaves, bead friezes, drapes, trellises, Greek motifs, rosettes… Belted scrolls of foliage contain winged putti which present a mandorla surrounded by garlands of flowers and seeds .
At the base level, there are two winged putti which in their flight hold draperies and a basket of flowers.
