Bernadette Kelly was born in Bousquet d'Orb, Hérault in 1933. Studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Paris, from 1953 to 1956 in the workshop of Marcel Gromaire.
Teaches drawing at Yves Hersent's preparatory course for seven years, then devotes herself entirely to her work in painting and engraving from 1965.
She paints "the art of evoking happy minutes".
Numerous exhibitions: Galerie Le Bateau Lavoir, Paris, Galerie Nadine Granier, Albi and others.
