This beautiful planter representing a bird well is in polychrome enameled earthenware, signed under the base Delphin Massier. This six bird well is complete with its two buckets on the ground and the mobile one, which was used to draw water. The planter is in perfect condition. state . This very decorative piece is by Delphin Massier, whose potter's family had been based in Vallauris since the 18th century. Delphin succeeded his father Jacques (1806 - 1871) and founded his own house in 1889 in association with his brother Clément (1844-1907) and his cousin Jérome (1850 - 1916) Delphin signs his pieces underneath with black enamel
